The seventh episode of ‘Demon Slayer,’ titled ‘Set Your Heart Ablaze,’ will air on November 28, 2021. It will be broadcast on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, and BS11 at various times. Spoilers for Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 7

When Tanjirou is fighting Enmu in episode 6, he is wounded by the ticket collector. Instead of fighting him, the Demon Slayer knocks him out so he can no longer meddle and attempts to shield him from the lower rank demon who is trying to save his neck. All of his attempts, however, are futile when Tanjirou and Inosuke slit his throat. When Enmu is decapitated, the Mugen train derails and all of its compartments shatter, injuring passengers as well as Tanjirou.

When Rengoku arrives and demonstrates how to correctly employ the technique, the protagonist focuses his breathing on healing his stabbing wound. However, he has only just begun to recover when the greater rank three demon, Akaza, appears. He instantly pursues Tanjirou and attempts to assassinate him, but the Flame Hashira slashes his hand with his katana. The demon is unconcerned by the counterattack, and he regenerates promptly.

Rengoku’s inner strength impresses Akaza, who asks the Demon Slayer to become like him. The Flame Hashira rejects to attain demon might and immortality, stating that human people’ ephemeral existence gives life meaning and should not be viewed as a limitation. The two start fighting, and it quickly becomes evident that Akaza is vastly superior in combat to Rengoku, who can hardly hurt the demon.

The higher-ranking demon continues to argue that human life is short, and with each attack, the Flame Hashira’s downfall appears to be drawing near. In episode 7, despite being dominated most of the time, Rengoku refuses to give up and fights back against the higher rank demon. But, in the end, he will die in front of Tanjirou and Inosuke, who are too weak to help.
