Release Date for Russian Doll Season 3

Lyonne told the same publication in August 2019, after the show was extended for a second season, that their plans had not changed much. She did, however, say that things could alter in the future. The actress hinted that ‘Russian Doll’ may only have two or four seasons in all. “In many ways, absolutely,” Lyonne said in response to a query about whether she still sees the program as a three-season series.

“I see it fairly concretely,” Lyonne continued, “and it will be interesting to see what evolves… I know there has to be room for something bigger than my limited imagination in this time to see whether it is still where the series begins, middles, and concludes. Perhaps it’s only two seasons. Perhaps it’s four seasons. It feels very evident right now that it is those three.” In the end, it all boils down to how successful the second season is.
