• Objective of the scheme :- The main objective of the Uttar Pradesh government to start this scheme is to provide employment opportunities to the students on the basis of their merit. So that it is easy for them to find employment after completing their studies.
• Duration of Internship :- In this internship scheme, the internship given to the beneficiaries will be of two types. In which the beneficiary can either take training for 6 months or this internship will be organized for them for 1 year as well.
• financial help :- In this scheme, it has been decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2500 to the beneficiary students in each month of internship.
• Contribution of Central and State Government: – This scheme is being started by combining the contributions of both the Uttar Pradesh government and the central government. In this scheme, out of the total financial assistance amount, 1500 rupees will be provided by the central government and the remaining 1000 rupees by the state government.
• Internship Training :- In this scheme, the UP state government will connect the students with various technical institutes and companies for internship training and orders have been given to these institutes and companies.
• Job Opportunities :- A separate HR cell will be created in various technical institutes and companies to provide job opportunities to the beneficiaries. This will help the beneficiaries to get jobs on the basis of their qualification and skills after completion of internship.
• Provision for girls :- Under this scheme, the state government has decided to fix 20% quota for girls in the police department. Due to which the girls of the state will also be able to contribute in the security of the state.
• Other Opportunities :- It has also been decided by the state government to open an ITI and skill development center in all the tehsils of the state which will provide a platform to the students for their skill development.
• Total Beneficiaries :- In this scheme, the state government has decided to provide benefits to about 5 lakh students by associating them with this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria in Uttar Pradesh Government Internship Scheme

• Resident of Uttar Pradesh :- The beneficiary getting internship in this scheme can only be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the resident of any state cannot be a part of this internship.
• Eligibility of boys and girls :- The beneficiaries of this scheme can be students studying in colleges for 10th, 12th and graduation. No one else will be given its benefit.
