Recap of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 7

Kyo flees with the souls he has kidnapped after the Spirit Tortoise dies. However, Naofumi, Raphtalia, Rishia, and Filo are also running after him in his reality. When the shield hero awakens, he is in a prison cell with Rishia, who appears to be just as ignorant as him. She notices that his shield is significantly different. When Noafumi examines it, he discovers that his and Rishia’s powers have been reset to 1.

Raphtalia is soon discovered missing by the shield hero, but she reappears from the other end of the prison cell. She has reduced in size and her talents have considerably diminished. When they venture outdoors, they discover that the prison is located on a beach. However, as they look out at the horizon, it becomes clear that the proportions of the world they are in have been changed. As a result, they turn around and discover a vast forest behind them.

A mysterious beast attacks the group as they begin to explore the area. Naofumi doesn’t waste any time and attacks it right away, only to get his hand stuck in the monster’s mouth. He instantly orders Raphtalia to strike, and she kills it with her sword. Unfortunately, they haven’t eaten in a long time, and everyone is starving. While Raphtalia and Rishia drink from a nearby river, the shield hero concerns that defeating a weak monster like the one they just encountered won’t help them replenish their levels.

A kappa comes from the river and begins striking the trio, as if the cosmos is listening to Naofumi’s fears. Unfortunately, all of their attacks are ineffective, and when they look to be in danger, the Hunting Hero Kizuna swiftly kills the monster. She introduces herself and is surprised to see that Naofumi is also a Cardinal Hero.

She subsequently tells the group in the prison cell about how she used to battle alongside her best buddy Glass but was captured by an enemy country, who imprisoned her in this reality. Kizuna informs Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Rishia that the planet they are in is known as the Infinite Labyrinth and that there is no way out. She’s been there for so long that she’s given up counting the years that have passed.

Season 2 Episode 7: The Rising of the Shield Hero What exactly is the Infinite Labyrinth? How do Naofumi, Raphtalia, Rishia, and Kizuna get away from it?

As previously stated, Infinite Labyrinth is a place reportedly constructed by an ancient wizard utilizing extraordinary spatial distortion powers. While it was not the creator’s intention, the universe ended up becoming a seemingly insurmountable maze due to several flaws in the magic utilized to construct it. Kizuna, the Hunting Hero who has spent the last few years exploring the Infinite Labyrinth, takes her new allies to the far end of the planet. There, they discover a lighted path, which Kizuna believes holds the key to leaving the Infinite Labyrinth.

Despite his greatest efforts, Naofumi is unable to get his feet to the opposite side. He does, however, come up with a brilliant idea. Using BioPlant seeds, he creates monsters that grow quickly and become large enough to exert pressure on the lit route. The force is powerful enough to shatter the barriers that surround the illuminated route, allowing them to cross to the other realm. Just a few moments later, Naofumi, Raphtalia, Rishia, and Kizuna find themselves in the realm of the hunting hero, ready to embark on their next adventure.
