The first story introduces us to a man named Ipsit Nair, who is considered to be the man with a computer memory because he never forgets. In the second story, Harshvardhan Kapoor plays the role of a superstar actor and he is famous in the country for his iconic look.

The third story follows the journey of Musafir Ali, who is known for his famous ghazals. Kay Kay Menon dons a very simple look as he plays a man who aspires to be a make-up artist in the fourth and final story.

Netflix’s Ray trailer takes viewers into the problems and complexities of the stories. While Ipsit begins to forget things, Kapoor’s character faces an identity crisis.

Ray Story of Full Series From a satire to a psychological thriller, four short stories by renowned writer and author Satyajit Ray have been adapted for the screen in this series.

The four stories included as part of the anthology are:

• Hungama Hai Kyun Barpa by Abhishek Chaubey: Based on Satyajit Ray’s short story Barin Bhowmik-er Byaram (transl. The Illness of Barin Bhowmik)
• Bahrupiya by Srijit Mukherjee: Based on Ray’s short story Bahroopiya (transl. Multi-character)
• Forget Me Not by Srijit Mukherjee: Based on Ray’s short story Bipin Chowdhary Smritibhrom (transl. Bipin Chowdhary’s memory loss)
• Spotlight by Vasan Bala: Based on Ray’s short story of the same name.

The titles of the four stories are Hungama Hai Kyun Barpa, Forget Me Not, Bahrupiya and Spotlight. Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherjee and Vasan Bala are its directors. Niren Bhatt and Siraj Ahmed have adapted the stories for the screen with Sayantan Mukherjee as the showrunner.
