Recap of Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 9

Alicia dreams about Senator Vazquez as she leads her supporters to PADRE in ‘Follow Me.’ Instead of giving the location of the rumored sanctuary, the deceased senator attempts to bite her, causing her to awaken. She finds she is at a foreign house and runs towards Paul, who tells her that he rescued her from a farm. Meanwhile, Arno arrives at the house and hunts for Alicia, who has taken refuge beneath Paul’s piano. After he leaves, Alicia tells Paul that Arno wants her dead for endangering several people in her pursuit of PADRE.

Paul tells Alicia about how his wife Rowan killed in the nuclear explosion. Recognizing that he is lonely, she offers him to join her and her company. They go to a neighboring concert theater and run upon Arno and his soldiers, who try to force Alicia into a vehicle full of walkers in order to kill her. Alicia and Paul, on the other hand, manage to flee the scene after shooting at Arno’s palm. Paul decides to accompany Alicia, but first he wants to watch Arno’s demise. Paul invites his foes to his home and begins playing loud music to entice the walkers.

Arno and his warriors manage to combat Paul and Alicia while killing several walkers. Paul is shot in the middle of the conflict, and he requests his visitor to flee without him. Despite her decision to leave him alone, Paul persuades her that he cannot follow her with the little life he has left in him. In order for Alicia to flee, Paul distracts and frustrates Arno, who eventually murders the pianist.

Why is Alicia returning to the Bunker at the end of Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 9?

When Alicia awakens in Paul’s house, she is distressed because she knows she sacrificed countless lives in quest of PADRE, which she couldn’t even locate with the deceased Senator Vazquez. The senator’s dreams exacerbate her mental anguish as she confronts the reality that her efforts to shepherd her supporters to safety were useless. However, Paul persuades Alicia to view her dreams in a new light. According to the pianist, Vazquez’s body is more of a manifestation of her desire to protect her people than an actual walker who may lead her to a safe haven.

The meeting with Paul helps Alicia realize that PADRE represents her desire to defend her people, which she can still achieve if she defeats Strand and conquers the Tower. However, she discovers that a greater army is required to win the battle. As a result, she decides to travel for the bunker in order to obtain a transmitter that could aid her in enlarging her army to wage war against Strand. She notifies Morgan of her decision and asks him to look after her group while she is away.

Alicia is aware that there will be survivors looking for a safe refuge like the Tower. The bunker’s transmitter is supposed to assist her in contacting these survivors and persuading them to join her in seizing control of the Tower from Strand. The lure of safety from walkers, hostile survivors, and the aftereffects of the nuclear blast may entice additional like-minded survivors to join Alicia, assuming she can speak with them. As a result, Alicia sets out to retrieve the transmitter from the bunker, despite the perils that await her along the road, including Arno.

Is Arno still alive or dead? What are His Intentions?

Arno is still alive. After fleeing Arno and his army, Paul realizes that he must be annihilated in order for Alicia to return safely to her group. When the walkers arrive in waves at his residence and attack the Stalkers and their commander, the pianist’s plan nearly succeeds. Arno is nearly bitten, but he manages to flee the clutches of a walker before becoming infected. After killing Paul, he flees the house unharmed by the rest of the walkers. Except for Sage, he begins his return journey without any of his warriors, who are dead at Paul’s residence.

Arno and Sage come upon a large herd of walkers in the middle of their excursion. Arno realizes that a safe establishment is unavoidable after observing the biters. He and Sage talk about the importance of conquering the Tower for themselves. Despite the fact that Alicia’s efforts to uncover PADRE have resulted in countless deaths, Arno believes that her objectives were and continue to be valid. As much as he wants to kill her, the Stalkers’ leader recognizes that Alicia is correct about finding a safe haven for the survivors, which may turn out to be the only way to live. These realizations prompt him to devise a strategy for taking the Tower. We could see Arno, Alicia, and Strand battling for control of Strand’s unrivaled refuge.

Arno may continue his pursuit of Alicia and, in order to eliminate opposition, may begin battling her force. Strand, who is obliged to prepare for a war against Alicia, may come across Arno as a serious threat.
