Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (transl. Vijay Super and Pournami) is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film, written and directed by Jis Joy, starring Asif Ali and Aishwarya Lekshmi, along with Balu Varghese, Siddique, Aju Varghese and Renji Panicker in supporting roles. It is the official remake of 2016 Telugu film Pelli Choopulu with Anish Kuruvilla reprising his performance. The film’s musical score was composed by debutant Prince George. It was released on 11 January 2019 to positive reviews from the critics and the audience. The movie had a run of 100 days at Kerala box office.

The movie revolves around Vijay (Asif Ali) and Pournami (Aiswarya) who meet through a mistaken matchmaking. Vijay is a graduate in Engineering but is a lazy person. Pournami is a MBA who aims to be an entrepreneur and is a focused individual. They are motivated to be the best, but they are not. Vijay’s dream is to be a restaurateur. Meanwhile, Pournami has dreams of starting a business even after repeated failures. She intends to go to Australia to pay back her parents the money she has lost through her ventures.
