‘The Faraway Paladin’ is an action-adventure fantasy anime based on a Japanese light novel series written by Kanata Yanagino and illustrated by Kususaga Rin. Will, a human boy raised in an abandoned city by three zombie guardians, is the focus of the episode. While the trio has shared all of their knowledge and expertise with him, the protagonist has kept a secret from them.

Release Date for The Faraway Paladin Episode 8
Episode 8 of ‘The Faraway Paladin,’ titled ‘The Poem of the Hero,’ will air on December 4, 2021. It will be shown at various times on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and BS NTV. Children’s Playground Entertainment is in charge of the series’ development, with Yuu Nobuta in charge of the directorial team and Tatsuya Takahashi in charge of the writing staff.
Ryichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi collaborated on the series’ music, and Koji Haneda designed the characters. Hikaru Masai sings the opening theme song, “The Sacred Torch,” and Nagi Yanagi sings the concluding theme song, “Shirushibi” (Mark of Fire).

Spoilers for The Faraway Paladin Episode 8
Will plans to search locate the settlement in episode 7, accompanied by Menel. They find a cozy spot in the jungle and decide to spend the night there. The next day, they continue their quest until they come find a temple surrounded by demons who have been using it for rituals. Will assaults them unexpectedly when they have figured out their formation, and he is quickly followed by Menel.
The duo quickly dispatches all of the zombies, and the latter understands that the former is not just any regular rich brat who has relied on his money to get by in life. They say their goodbyes to all the undead and meet a ghost named Marpel. When she presses Menel and asks him harsh questions, he admits to stealing, but he has little choice because the gods have never aided him, and he cannot leave innocent people who are starving.
Recognizing Menel’s anguish, Marpel gives some words of comfort, and the two resume their trek. Villagers who had fled due to the demons returned to the settlement and buried the deceased. Late Menel tells Will about his boyhood and expresses gratitude for his assistance to the locals. When they are eating together, the protagonist recalls Blood and Mary and admits that he now has someone he can call a friend. Will, accompanied by Menel, will learn something unexpected in Episode 8 that will dramatically impact his ambitions and mission.
