Servant Season 3 Episode 3 Recap and Ending Explained

The horror-thriller series ‘Servant,’ directed by Tony Basgallop, generates a dark atmosphere packed with cultist intrigue. Dorothy Turner, an established reporter, and Sean Turner, a “bon vivant,” are central to the slow-burning narrative. The story begins with Sean and Dorothy appointing Leanne to care for Dorothy’s deceased baby, but the infant comes to life once the nanny enters the house, much to their surprise.

Leanne’s paranoia reaches a boiling point in the second episode of the third season, and the third episode, ‘Hair,’ exposes that her paranoia may have a foundation. We’ll interpret the surprising ending later, but first, a quick recap. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

Recap of Servant Season 3 Episode 3

The third episode begins with a shot of decaying flesh infected with worms. Julian stares down into Jericho’s crib anxiously in the next scenario. We eventually understand that Julian is being tormented by a dream. Outside the Turner home, Julian and Veera discuss Leanne, guessing on the baby’s origin. Veera is concerned that Leanne will eventually decide to abandon the Turners with her kid, and Julian considers legalizing the adoption.

While the Turners are certain that it is their child, Julian remains doubtful. He advises that Sean conduct a DNA test on Jericho and Leanne to check if they are genetically related. Dorothy disguises herself as Marilyn Monroe in order to cover a Marilyn Monroe event. Sean takes Leanne and Jericho on a walk so Julian doesn’t have to worry about them. Sean introduces Dandelion to Leanne and informs her that the blossom is tasty. Meanwhile, Leanne is having a good time but becomes alarmed when she sees Sean handing money to a street child.

Because to Leanne’s worry, they flee to the Turners’ home. Sean prepares a cup of Dandelion Soup for Leanne. Dorothy’s reappearance is absurd since, while she is portraying the “dead diva,” her colleague Isabelle Carrick is investigating a murder. Dorothy is not hungry, so she declines the soup. While finishing the soup, Leanne discovers a strand of hair, possibly hers or Dorothy’s, in it.

The irony is that Julian meets Roscoe in the next scene, which takes place in an open-air gym. Julian approaches Roscoe for assistance in obtaining Jericho and Leanne’s DNA. He hands Roscoe a swab and instructs him to insert it into the baby’s nose. The DNA test kit may be a better choice, but Julian trusts Roscoe because the legal process will be lengthy. While Roscoe agrees to take the samples to the lab, he denies ever entering the Turner home. Julian and Roscoe notice the same homeless child while discussing between themselves.

Meanwhile, Sean cooks pasta for the park’s homeless children, becoming a good Samaritan. Julian waits outside the Turners while Roscoe begs him to hurry up and get the samples. Julian searches for hair below Leanne’s bed after removing a strand of hair off Jericho’s head. When Julian is caught in the act, he claims to be seeking for a watch that he dropped while having sex. Julian manipulates Leanne’s emotions by kissing her before tearing her hair out. Later, Julian discovers Dorothy’s hairbrush and hands it over to Roscoe.

The homeless individual comes to the Turners the next morning, hoping to take a leak. While Sean is truly generous, Dorothy is wary of them. She later abandons her plans to cover the Eastwick pet parade in favor of reporting on the park’s squatter population. While the youngsters appear hesitant to face the camera, if not hostile, Sean steals the show when he arrives to give the food. While the family is content, Leanne anticipates that Sean will become a major star. Julian arrives with some bad news, but he is in for a surprise. Meanwhile, Leanne witnesses a horrible scene via her window.

Is Jericho’s Baby Dorothy’s? Servant Season 3 Episode 3 Ending: Is Jericho’s Baby Dorothy’s? What Does the DNA Test Show?

Julian returns at the end of the episode with the results of the DNA test. Jericho is not Dorothy’s child, according to the test results, because the DNA does not match. Julian tells Dorothy what he believes to be the truth since he does not want to keep her in the dark. He takes Veera’s counsel and describes how Jericho died right in front of his eyes. While he is still confident in the DNA test results, a member of Dorothy’s news coverage team knocks on the door.

She seems to have left her hairbrush — the same hairbrush Julian used to obtain the samples. As a result, because the hair is not Dorothy’s, the test result is inconclusive. However, based on Sean’s earlier remark, it appears that Jericho is Dorothy’s child, despite the lack of a plausible explanation. Julian and the reasoning viewers, hopefully, will get their answers shortly.

Who Are The Park’s Children? Are they members of a cult?

Another spine-chilling sight is shown in the last moments of the third episode. Leanne peeks through her bedroom window before retiring to bed. She discovers three individuals standing beneath her window, their attention fixated on hers. Close-ups reveal that they are the same street youngsters Sean is assisting. We know from Leanne’s prior statement that the cult members do not consume the type of cuisine that Sean prepares. And, based on the antagonism Sean encounters among the homeless youngsters, they may be cult members.

On the other side, they could be petty burglars seeking for a late-night robbery. The latter idea connects the homeless youths to the local robberies. They could, however, be members of the cult, posing a threat to Leanne’s life. Is there going to be a break-in in the next episode? We’ll have to wait another week for a response.
