In ‘Bel-Air,’ it is revealed that Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) is not the beloved butler from the original series. Here’s all you need to know about the fourth episode of ‘Bel-Air.’ WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

Recap of Bel-Air Episode 4

It appears that at least a week has gone between Will’s outstanding performance in the basketball game and Carlton’s panic attack. Carlton seemed to be doing lot better these days. He strikes a deal with his father: if he and Will can register 50 votes, Phil will take him to the Monaco Grand Prix. Will and Tray’s connection has improved dramatically since the last episode. Tray informs Will that Rashad has discovered his location. Will rushes to Geoffrey, who promises him that he will take care of it because Uncle Phil is not in the house. Will hears about Carlton’s plans through Hilary and strikes his own bargain with Viv: if he and Carlton succeed, Will can invite Tray to L.A.

While the boys go door to door trying to persuade people to register to vote, Hilary and Ashley go to nearby businesses and ask the owners if they will display Phil’s campaign posters in their windows. They stumble across Jazz, the owner of the record store, at a record store. Hilary and Jazz had met before, but this is their first official meeting. Hilary discovers that neither Jazz nor the store have a social media presence and resolves to change that.

Hilary’s feud with her mother rages on as the younger woman attempts to assert her independence in the eyes of her critical mother. She applies to a lot of influencer houses but receives rejection after rejection. She is understandably overjoyed when she is finally welcomed into the Crib of Influence, an influencer mansion. When Viv learns about the possibility, she is appalled.

Ashley is revealed to occasionally slip out of her house to play online games with her friends. The show also subtly suggests that she might be interested in one of the other girls in the group. Meanwhile, as they go from house to house convincing people to register to vote, Carlton and Will realise it’s not going to be as easy as they imagined. Carlton’s rational approach fails because voters clearly do not consider the wealthy and powerful Phillip Banks to be one of them. Will, as usual, has an idea. He invites all possible voters to the skating rink for a meet-and-greet with Phil. This was intended to be a private fundraiser, but Will decides to make it open to the public.

Phil, who is initially sceptical, warms up to the notion as his son and nephew work together to persuade him. It also works. His supporters learn that he intends to defund the police and prevent prosecutors from pursuing sentencing enhancements for first-time offenders. These initiatives appear to be gaining him popularity among his followers. Both boys obtain what they desire since they effectively persuaded folks to register.

Who Killed Rashad in Bel-Air Episode 4?

Rashad works as a drug dealer in West Philadelphia. Will had to leave his hometown to live with his maternal aunt and her family in Los Angeles because of him. Rashad learns where Will is near the end of episode 3 through a video footage of the latter’s first basketball game. In this episode, after discovering from Tray that Rashad knows where he is, Will goes to see Geoffrey, who assures him that everything is under control and not to worry about his uncle and aunt.

Geoffrey appears to have some connections in the Los Angeles underground, and he and his associates have already given Rashad $10,000 to appease him. But it didn’t work, and Rashad is now demanding more money. As a result, he chooses to deal with the problem permanently. Rashad was shot dead at a strip joint, as Will subsequently learns through Tray. When Geoffrey tells his associate that he will no longer be paying Rashad, he basically urges him to take care of the matter by executing the drug dealer. With Rashad gone, Will and Tray can resume their normal lives. Will, on the other hand, is likely to have a better idea of who Geoffrey is.
