Recap of Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 19

Eren grows enraged after Zeke falls from the wall, his fate unknown to those around him. Galliard’s Jaw Titan bites his leg and appears to be eating it as he tries to reach out to his half-brother. The Founding Titan, on the other hand, hardens his hands and forcefully breaks Jaw Titan’s head. While Galliard appears to be fighting for his life, Reiner’s Armored Titan confronts Eren and wrestles his Titan to the ground, pleading with Galliard not to give up. Zeke’s Beast Titan awakens and is about to turn the humans who have ingested his spinal fluid into Titans when Colt and Falco race towards him, closely followed by Gabi, and begs him to wait.

Colt says that he must not involve youngsters in the dispute and must allow Falco to get far enough away so that his cry does not influence him. Unfortunately, his plea falls on deaf ears as Zeke’s Beast Titan begs for assistance in transforming Falco into a Titan. Colt, who has refused to abandon his sibling, is severely injured in the process and dies shortly afterwards. Meanwhile, all of the Eldian army men who have now transformed into Titans begin attacking the Marleyan soldiers, completely turning the fight on its head. In the meantime, Zeke orders Falco to assault Reiner’s Armored Titan. Reiner lets Falco assault his nape and accepts his fate since he wants him to inherit his Titan.

But, in an unusual turn of events, Galliard arrives out of nowhere and purposefully attracts Falco’s attention, sacrificing himself in the process so that he might inherit the Jaw Titan. Meanwhile, while Zeke is busy taking control of the situation on the ground, General Magath attacks him with another Anti-Titan Mobile Artillery attack and instantly begins celebrating, believing that he has finally defeated him. Zeke, on the other hand, has simply replicated Pieck’s ploy and is waiting for Eren by hiding behind Beast Titan’s carcass. His half-brother is the first to see him and uses the Founding Titan’s hardness to freeze Reiner’s Armored Titan before running towards Zeke in human form.

For a brief time, it appears that the stars have finally aligned for Eren to inherit all of his Titan’s powers, but just as he approaches him, Gabi decapitates him with an anti-Titan artillery weapon. Fortunately, Zeke’s hope is not gone, as he transports Eren to the Coordinate when his head falls on his hands. He begs his half-brother to approach the little girl, who is actually Ymir Fritz, and take control of her powers in order to carry out the Eldian euthanasia plan. Eren, on the other hand, refuses to comply and admits that he merely partnered with him to obtain the abilities of the Founding Titan. However, Zeke reveals that he was simply testing his half-brother and that he has already obtained the powers of the Founder and has managed to negate Fritz’s promise to abandon violence.

Ending of Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 19: How Did Zeke Acquire the Power of the Founding Titan? What Happened to Karl Fritz’s War-Renouncing Promise?

Karl Fritz once feared that his descendants might wield the Power of Titans for violence and destruction. So, in order to prevent something like that from happening again, he takes a promise to abstain from conflict with the Founding Titan. It states that his heirs may inherit his powers, but they may never be used in vengeance, and if Marley becomes powerful enough to destroy Eldia, the people of Paradis Island must accept their fate. As a result, when Zeke arrives in the Coordinate, he is bound by the same commitment.

However, after spending time with the Founder in the unknown realm, he was able to persuade Karl Fritz to break his commitment. People of royal blood would have failed if they tried to accomplish anything like Zeke because their logic would have been corrupted by the first king’s beliefs. Fortunately, in the Coordinate, Zeke was not constrained by the same constraints on his reasoning, and because Ymir has no choice of her own, he easily convinced her with all the time on his side and obtained the abilities of the Founder.

Is Eren Dead or Alive at the End of Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 19?

Eren does not die in the ‘Attack on Titan’ season 4 episode 19 titled ‘Two Brothers.’ Because Gabi decapitates Eren with the anti-Titan artillery gun, viewers are naturally curious as to how the anti-hero survived such a lethal strike. Eren’s beheaded skull falls into Zeke’s palm just as he is about to die, activating the Power of the Founding Titan. By the time the anti-hero awakens from his long slumber in the Coordinate, Zeke has not only inherited the power of the Founder, but has also effectively destroyed Karl Fritz’s resolve to abstain from conflict.

However, it is critical to note that time moves at a glacial pace in the Coordinate. After Zeke is severely injured as a result of the thunder spear explosion in Season 4, Episode 15, he is actually saved by Ymir in the Coordinate, who slowly heals his body. It provides crucial insight into the fact that, despite serious injuries, Eldians can be saved by Ymir if she chooses to do so. So, despite being decapitated, reaching the Coordinate right before he dies may save Eren’s life.

His existence is further supported by the eponymous manga, which plainly states that he does not die at the hands of Gabi. To completely realize Eren’s part in the drama that follows, as well as how he influences the fate of the real world, you will have to wait for the following episodes.
