Furioza Ending Explained: Who Killed Kaszubian?

Cyprian T. Olencki, a Polish director who made his debut with the 2017 comedy film ‘PolandJa,’ directed the mafia thriller film ‘Furioza’ with cerebral immediacy. The plot revolves around Dawid, a doctor and the brother of a notorious gang leader who lives a low-key existence in the city, estranged from his family and fighting to come to terms with a past tragedy. Dawid’s life, however, takes a critical turn after the reappearance of his former flame Dzika. He becomes progressively involved in the gang affair while also working as a police informant.

The suburban setting adds to the film’s gangster vibe. At the same time, the ensemble cast features some well-known faces from the Polish film industry, including veteran Polish star Janusz Chabior. Although the finale is wobbly, it returns the plot to its beginning. Meanwhile, you must mentally relive the previous minutes because events move quickly. Let us make it more coherent if you’re having difficulties finding meaning. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

Synopsis of the Furioza Plot

The opening sequence depicts a guy heading towards the sea, and the story concludes with a full circle. Meanwhile, a gang of hooligans harasses Dawid, a doctor, on the subway. Dzika, Dawid’s old flame and gang member, arrives on the scene after a ten-year absence. Dzika fled the group after her brother Daro was killed in a brawl with a rival gang. She now works for the cops, reporting to neurotic officer Bauer. Dawid meets Dzika and Bauer, who are looking to arrest Dawid’s brother Kaszubian for his involvement with the football thugs “Furioza.”

Other actors in the scenario include Antman, a rival gang boss suspected of drug smuggling, and Polanski, a shady businessman who controls a port in Gdansk as well as the XOXO nightclub. Furioza residents are now frequent visitors to the lounge. The authorities suspect Golden, a Kaszubian associate, is involved in the narcotics trade. The authorities are not looking for Kaszubian in particular; they are looking to disrupt the narcotics network that spans the country, from Gdansk to Dublin.

Dawid arrives at Kamila, Zuzia, and Kaszubian’s house, and Golden arrives shortly after. Despite police efforts to apprehend the gang, the hooligans frequently remain one step ahead, despite evidence against them. Kaszubian is also on the lookout for rats among them, while Gray’s death suggests foul play within the group. The tale takes a detour to the south after Kaszubian’s strange demise. Dawid falls in love with Dzika, although his job with the police puts his life in danger. However, as Dawid leaves his informant job, determined to find Kaszubian’s killer, we know that greater forces are at work.

Who Killed Kaszubian at the End of Furioza?

Like the rest of the group, we initially believe Antman murdered Kaszubian. Antman and Kaszubian were arch-enemies, and it was only logical for Antman, as the opposing gang boss, to order Kaszubian’s murder. Kaszubian’s righteousness most likely caused a number of issues for Antman’s drug-dealing organization. Dawid quits his informant position after Kaszubian’s death, determined to track out and assassinate Kaszubian’s killer. Kamila, Kaszubian’s wife, begs Dawid to seek vengeance on behalf of his late brother. With the conviction, Dawid and the other Furioza members bring in Polanski, the nasty businessman with a Shakespearean bent.

Furioza members sleep late at night in a parking lot. When Antman reverses his car, members of Furioza T-bone it and attack Antman and his crew. Dawid has a confrontation with Antman, who claims that Kaszubian is his only friend and biggest enemy. Antman only has respect for his erstwhile rival gang boss because he is an old-school thug with principles. However, we cannot fully trust Antman since he keeps his hands clean by enlisting the help of others to carry out his evil activities. However, security footage recovered by Dzika from the crime scene exposes the identity of the murderer. Golden appears to be the culprit.

Bauer turns Golden into a police informant after giving him the footage when he is in police custody. According to Golden, Antman runs an intricate narcotics business at the port, and the cops are waiting to apprehend him. Meanwhile, Golden’s gang detects disloyalty when he invites his gang to join forces with Antman. Meanwhile, Dzika, a former Furioza member, publishes the footage showing Kaszubian’s killer, demonstrating her gang allegiance and ethical limitations. Following the disclosure, the majority of the gang members watch the video on the internet, enraged to wreak vengeance on Golden. Dzika, on the other hand, loses her job as a result of the leak.

Is Golden still alive or dead?

Following the revelation that Golden is the murderer of Kaszubian, the members of the gang travel to the club XOXO for direct fight. Dawid is willing to kill Golden himself, but Dzika and the others persuade him not to do so. After all, he is a doctor and a good citizen, and the other members believe that he has a greater obligation in the hospital than in prison.

However, the other members of Furioza agree that Golden must die because that is the rule of the gang world. The end scene unfolds similarly to the final stages of Julius Caesar, with Golden becoming a reincarnation of Brutus. Brutus, on the other hand, committed suicide, but Golden has a far more sad end in store for him. The others agree that even if they are imprisoned, their families will receive alimony from the club fund. As a result of their reasoning, the faithful members of Furioza proceed to stab Golden many times, and Golden dies as a result.

Are Dawid and Dzika destined to be together? Is Dawid still alive or dead?

The plot is held together by Dawid and Dzika’s romance. Dawid and Dzika were dating ten years before the events in the film. However, Daro’s death appears to have put a stop to their carefree days. They get closer again while working on the drug bust case. Dzika’s concern for Dawid’s safety causes a schism with her supervisor Bauer. Meanwhile, they become personal in a few cerebrally filmed passages, particularly the one at nightfall, which makes an effect on the minds of the viewers. Following Golden’s death, the majority of Furioza members are sentenced to prison. Simultaneously, Dzika abandons her duties and badge to embark on an ocean cruise with Dawid, Kamila, and Zuzia.

Dawid teaches Zuzia how to pilot a boat while the rest of the family relaxes on the deck. However, as they approach the shore and Dawid enters what appears to be an equipment room, a hooligan stabs him in the stomach. This is the same Antman’s Brigade hooligan that had an altercation with Dawid in the subway. He appears to be resentful for the drug bust in which Antman loses a fortune and blames Dawid for the mishap. Dawid travels towards the shore in the closing segment, which connects to the first scene. Following the cliffhanger, we don’t know whether he dies or not. Death from a knife wound can take several hours, but in other situations, victims can bleed to death in less than five minutes. As a result of analyzing all of the options, we conclude that Dawid dies, depriving him of the opportunity to have a family with Dzika.
