The pair is gearing up for a wild night of partying ahead of their upcoming graduations. Kunle forgets to place his specimen in the freezer after completing his thesis research. As a result, the bacteria are in danger of dying and destroying Kunle’s thesis. Sean, on the other hand, is looking forward to visiting seven frat parties in one night with Kunle, making them the first black guys on campus to complete the “famous run.”

After much consideration, the pair chooses to visit Kunle’s lab before going to the festivities. When they return home, they discover that their roommate, Carlos, has neglected to lock the door. Kunle and Sean search the house for their belongings, fearing that they had been robbed. They do, however, discover a young girl asleep on their living room floor. Meanwhile, Carlos has been playing video games, completely unconscious of the presence of the female. The three lads eventually assemble around the unconscious female to decide what to do.

Kunle offers contacting 911 for assistance, but Sean dismisses the notion right once because the image of black males reporting a white girl will lead to the police suspecting them. Kunle agrees not to notify the authorities after some thought. The group decides to take the girl to the hospital. Meanwhile, Maddie, a college student attending a nearby frat party, discovers that her sister, Emma, has gone missing. Maddie and her friends Alice and Rafael use a smartphone app to look for Emma, who is with Sean, Kunle, and Carlos.

Maddie fears her sister is in danger after narrowly missing the trio’s car and calls 911. Meanwhile, the group unwittingly gets Emma even more inebriated, compounding their problems. With the cops and Maddie on their tail and limited options, the three debates the best solution, which leads to an argument. The rest of the plot is around how the buddies manage the increasingly difficult and humorous predicament.

Are Kunle and Carlos Arrested After the Emergency?

Emma begins to sober up as the night progresses. When Emma finds herself in the company of unfamiliar men, she assaults them and flees into the woods. Kunle feverishly does CPR on Emma in the aim of resuscitating the unconscious girl. However, the police seize Kunle and Carlos after catching up with the group. Maddie and Alice straighten up the misunderstanding after Emma is taken to the hospital, and Kunle and Carlos are freed with a warning. The experience of cops pointing a pistol in Kunle’s face, on the other hand, is terrifying for the young man. Nonetheless, Kunle is concerned for Emma’s health and inquires about her condition. Kunle returns to his lab after the police convince him that Emma will live.

Emma and Maddie return to Kunle’s residence a few days later to thank him and Carlos for his assistance. The girls also apologize for raising a commotion. Kunle accepts Emma’s apology but closes the door on Maddie. Maddie had already jumped to conclusions, believing that Kunle was harming her sister only because of his race. Maddie’s actions reflect the broader public’s opinion of black men and their involvement with criminality. Nonetheless, Kunle returns to his regular routine, but his encounter with the police haunts him, and the sound of police sirens makes him nervous.

Kunle and Sean reconcile? What Happens to Kunle’s Dissertation?

Kunle and Sean have been at odds on how to deal with Emma since the beginning. The two best friends have starkly opposed personalities and worldviews. As a result, in order not to hurt one other’s sentiments, they overlook many factors that contribute to repressed emotions. Finally, the two men disagree over their worldviews and part ways. While it appears like Kunle’s decision to assist Emma is the morally acceptable one, his terrifying encounter with the police demonstrates that Sean was correct all along. As a result, the complexity of the situation creates a true sense of urgency, prompting the buddies to reunite.

Finally, Kunle and Carlos arrive at Kunle’s lab to discover Sean asleep near the refrigerator. Sean decided to assist his pal after spending some time at the party. As a result, he ensures that the fridge remains snugly locked throughout the night and that Kunle’s specimens are safe.
