Synopsis of the AI Love You Plot

In a future society, there are smart buildings driven by AI programmes with superhuman powers and even human emotions. They do everything from food preparation to complicated activities like software creation. Dob, who oversees a multilevel office complex, is one such capable AI. He soon falls in love with a lady named Lana who works in the building, diverting him from the traditional functions of an AI. Dob assists her in retaining her work and sympathises with her, and the two quickly become fast friends.

Lana has had a string of bad dates, including one with a tech specialist named Bobby, who disgusts her with his womanizing and haughty demeanor. Dob expresses his feelings for her just as she is about to give up on love. Lana dismisses him, stating that they can never be together because he is just an AI. In response to his perseverance, she adds that if he were human, she might still consider it.

When Dob begins glitching, Bobby is tasked with repairing him, much to Lana’s chagrin. He scolds Dob, and as he is ready to reset him, the latter escapes the system due to a power surge and enters his body. Dob eventually adjusts to his new human form and approaches Lana tenderly, but she refuses to speak to him because of her previous experience with Bobby. Dob transforms Lana’s perception of Bobby by transforming him into the type of man she admires and desires after certain blunders while attempting to comprehend human interactions. Keno, the AI that runs Lana’s house, assists him.

However, Bobby’s coworker Alan begins to suspect him while he is attempting to preserve his double persona. Lana gradually melts as she sees Dob’s attempts and realises that Bobby has actually become a better guy. She starts dating him, and Dob is relieved to have finally won her love, even if she believes he is Bobby. However, when Alan reports him to the higher authorities as a renegade AI, they dispatch a violent bounty hunter named “The Hawk” to extract Dob and reboot him. Dob and Keno Get Erased in the End of AI Love You?

Lana and Bobby confess a year later that Dob and Keno are no longer with them and that they miss them. This signifies that they have successfully reclaimed control of their brains from the AIs and have saved them safely on the hard drive to prevent erasure.

Lana rushes to save Dob and Bobby by assimilating Keno. Lana and Bobby flee the city after successfully rescuing both AIs in order to avoid the Smart Plus authorities and keep both AIs safe. Bobby believes that he has become a better guy as a result of Dob’s efforts and recognises that he, too, has fallen for Lana. She decides to stay with him because she, too, has fallen in love with him, despite Dob’s presence in him. Lana and Bobby live happily together in a new city a year later, remembering Keno and Dob.

Does The Hawk Pass Away?

The Hawk is a violent AI bounty hunter who moonlights as a “Love Guru” TV programme host. When Smart Plus contracts him to capture Dob, he leaves no stone unturned and eliminates anything and everyone in his path. He mercilessly berates and tortures Dob after capturing him, but is prevented by Keno in Lana’s body. They fight The Hawk effectively and overcome him, but he attempts to kill them. Keno and Lana eventually catch up with him and murder him before he can do any harm.
