Raphtalia is purposefully removed from the group during the moments when the Shield Hero and his companions are intended to use the warp formed by the dragon hourglass to go to Sikul. He informs Naofumi that, like Filo, he intends to utilize her for research purposes. Although the titular protagonist is naturally enraged, he is powerless to intervene and finds up in Sikul alongside Kizuna and Rishia.

Naofumi asks the Hunting Hero to return them to Mikakage so that they can bring Raphtalia with them. Unfortunately, Kyo has utilized his abilities to block the portal from the other side. All of them are greeted with great fanfare in Sikul, especially the Hunting Hero. People become enraged when they find that Kizuna has been imprisoned against her will in the Infinite Labyrinth and resolve to take action. She, on the other hand, stops them and introduces everyone to Naofumi.

People get distrustful of him when they realize he is a Cardinal Hero from another world. Naofumi, who is already sad at losing Raphtalia, can’t handle it any longer and decides to leave. He is stopped, however, by Ethnobalt, the wielder of the Vassal Boat. Kizuna introduces him to Naofumi. She also receives her shikigami Chris from him, and the Shield Hero and Rishia discover that they may be utilized to find down someone.

As a result, Naofumi creates another shikigami out of his blood and Raphtalia’s hair. They eventually identify their friend’s location and are astounded to discover that Glass is also there. They come to the conclusion that both of them are most likely captured in enemy territory and must be rescued as quickly as possible. They use Ethnobalt’s vessel to reach one of the cities where Raphtalia is most likely being held and begin their quest. Meanwhile, Filo must put up with her kidnappers’ abuse.

The End of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 9: How Do Naofumi and His Friends Save Filo?

When the Shield Hero and his allies arrive in the enemy country, they immediately begin searching for their friend. While they are considering various options, Naofumi hears a familiar voice and starts running towards it. Kizuna and Rishia pursue him till they come to a halt in front of an exhibition where they see Filo. Her captors force her to sing for the enjoyment of the crowd, which naturally irritates the Shield hero.

He is prepared to kill everyone guilty for Filo’s current predicament, but he is stopped by Rishia and Kizuna. They all put their minds together and devised a lot less confrontational method. They go to the room where Filo is held and find her in the middle of the night. The Hunting Hero, on the other hand, knows that her captors have employed a powerful talisman to prevent her from escaping free and transforming.

Kizuna appears to be in wonderful health as she uses her talents to free Filo. However, her kidnapper abruptly arrives to prevent them from removing Filo. Naofumi has lost patience by this point and utilizes his shield powers to put the captive in his place.

Is Raphtalia still alive or dead?

After rescuing Filo from her captors, Naofumi and his pals spend the night in the bush. The next day, they come across posters offering cash prizes for any information about Filo. Fortunately, her kidnapper has not seen the Shield Hero, Rishia, or Kizuna, so they are safe. However, while looking at the posters, Naofumi notices that Raphtalia’s stats have vanished.

Rishia fears the worst, while the Shield Hero is perplexed because it could mean she is dead. However, the shikigami made from Raphtalia’s hair is still with them. If she had died, the shikigami should have vanished as well. As a result of its presence, one can only deduce that Raphtalia is still alive.
