3. Steve Jobs was a college dropout.
Like many successful entrepreneurs, Jobs was a college dropout.
Jobs enrolled at Reed College in 1972 but dropped out after one semester.
He told his parents that he didn’t want to squander their money on an education that would be worthless to him.
Jobs’ adoptive parents had pledged to pay for his schooling to his birth mother Schieble.
4. In 1976, Steve Jobs founded Apple Inc.
In March 1976, Jobs co-created the first Apple computer with Steve Wozniak.
Wozniak created the Apple I, and he and Jobs decided to offer it to the general public.
By April 1, 1976, the two had formed Apple Computer Company with Ronald Wayne as a business partnership, which is today known as Apple Inc.
Jobs’ parents’ home on Crist Drive was where the company was registered. Jobs’ bedroom served as their office, which was subsequently relocated to the garage.
Jobs got the moniker “Apple” while living on the All One Farm commune in Oregon.
Jobs spent a lot of time in the apple orchard before deciding on the business name.
