Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie Recap Episode 4
Izumi and his buddies try to withstand the scorching summer days, but it soon becomes evident that playing anything is out of the question. They do, however, intend to visit the beach as soon as summer vacations begin. Izumi, on the other hand, has never liked going there and frequently ends up in some form of trouble. As a result, Inuzuka suggests that instead of going to the beach, they ask him what he would want to do so that everyone may have fun.
While Izumi is initially hesitant to speak, he expresses a wish to visit somewhere near the river. No one seemed to have an issue with the plan, but Hachimitsu reminds out that traveling with him can be devastating due to his poor luck. Shikimori assures her that she will be there to keep an eye on him, just as he does. They all go shopping after reviewing the exam week schedule.
Shikimori decides to stay with Izumi while Hachimitsu and Nekozaki go shopping for swimsuits. However, when she is not paying attention to him for a few moments, he is captivated by a poster depicting a model in a bikini. Shikimori is humiliated for a minute when she understands what has captured his attention and swiftly leaves. It turns out that she heads straight to the mall’s swimwear section to buy a bikini similar to the girl in the billboard.
When Hachimitsu and Nekozaki see what she is most likely doing, the latter remarks on her competitive attitude and recalls their first meeting. The two buddies met after a competitive basketball game, after which they spent a meal together. Shikimori, according to Nekozaki, has a competitive part to her personality that always comes out when her back is against the wall or Izumi is in difficulty.
The party quickly reunites with Izumi and Inuzuka, who are studying for the exam. When Izumi notices Shikimori has a bag, he begins to wonder what she has purchased. His girlfriend, on the other hand, refuses to answer him and simply changes the subject. Shikimori contacts Izumi the next night, and the two have a long love phone talk. Shikimori swears to her clumsy boyfriend that she will follow him to the end of the world and never leave him alone. When Izumi tells her that he is feeling unusual energy and wants to meet her right away, his fiancée becomes uncomfortable and hangs off the phone.
Shikimori Isn’t Just a Cutie: What Does Shikimori Hide in Her Bag?
As Nekozaki notes, Shikimori has always been competitive and has a strong desire to win anytime she is put to the test, therefore it can be claimed that her natural competitiveness is not restricted to sports. As a result, whenever the main protagonist is challenged, she does her utmost to outwit her opponent. As a result, she is understandably jealous when she sees Izumi stunned by the model in a bikini. But, deep inside, she wants to show her partner that she can wear the same swimsuit as the woman in the poster and look just as good.
As a result, she rushes to the swimwear section to get the same outfit. While we don’t get to see what she eventually buys, it appears that the bikini is the most likely item in her bag. As a result, Shikimori hides it from his peers, clearly embarrassed by the contents of the bag, while refusing to answer Izumi’s questions about her purchase directly. While she has yet to inform her partner, it is likely that she will wear the swimwear in future episodes when they go to the river to rest.
