Recap of Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 Episode 9

The students are free to travel wherever they wish with their groups on the second day of the school trip. As a result, Katou demonstrates to Sasaki and Komi that she has already prepared their entire day. The group takes the train to their first location. When they get in Osaka, they go to Utopia Street Japan. Komi and her friends enjoy all of the exciting rides at USJ, which overwhelms the titular protagonist.

Fortunately, Katou has saved the best for last, telling her classmates that they would now have takoyaki. But she insists on eating while walking so that they may get to the next location on time. However, Sasaki advises them to take their time and enjoy their food, as eating while walking is considered disrespectful. Although Katou agrees, she eats the hot takoyaki as quickly as she can to get her friends to the next destination sooner.

However, Sasaki and Komi take their time, which naturally makes Katou upset because she is intent on sticking to the schedule to the letter. They then go to a park where they feed a deer. On their drive back to Kyoto, Katou criticizes Sasaki for not eating takoyaki quickly enough, causing them to go behind time. Katou, according to Sasaki, is trying to do too much in one day, and her schedule is hurting everything. Just when things appear to be heating up between them, Komi shows them images of themselves having fun and asks them indirectly to focus on the joy they have had thus far.

Komi’s intervention appears to have had a positive effect, as the two friends apologize to each other. Katou informs her classmates that she had planned to visit Futomaki Studio Park as well, but because they are late, she offers to adjust her plans. But, at Komi’s request, they dash to Studio Park, where they have a great time. The interactive experience, in which guests are entertained by actors dressed in costume who perform an act, is one of the highlights of this location.

As part of the interactive experience, Komi, disguised as a maiko, is flanked by a few ninjas. Sasaki, who was in the restroom at the time of the incident, believes her classmate is in danger. She is embarrassed by her fondness for yo-yos. As a result, she dons a mask and fights the ninjas to save Komi, oblivious to the fact that they are actors. Later that night, Katou convinces her that she is the masked savior who assisted Komi at Studio Park. Sasaki, it turns out, finished third in the world yo-yo championship.

Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 Episode 9 Ending: Does Komi Tell Katou and Sasaki That She Likes Tadano?

After accepting that she is a yo-yo artist and demonstrating her abilities to her peers, Sasaki and Katou inform Komi that it is now time for the love talk. The titular protagonist is initially perplexed, but she quickly realizes that they are expecting her to inform them about their crush. Sasaki claims she hasn’t had a crush on anyone yet. Sasaki is then probed about her love interest. She is understandably ashamed, but she admits that she likes Katai.

The two of them then turn to look at Komi, whose emotions reveal that she has a crush on someone. They make things easier for the titular protagonist by asking her to just write the first name of the boy she likes. They can tell Komi has affections for Hitohito Tadano. As a result, when she writes H on her text, it simply validates what they already know. To summarize, Komi subtly admits to Sasaki and Katou that she likes Tadano.
