Recap of Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 Episode 10

Komi returns to school the next day following her excursion, but she is worried by the prospect of contacting Katou and Sasaki in an appropriate manner. Meanwhile, Katou and Sasaki are debating how they should approach their school trip companion. The main protagonist witnesses her friends exchanging gifts with the students with whom they were placed, but she lacks the confidence to do the same.

Her conduct indicates that she is considering all of the worst situations in her thoughts, but Tadano simply wants her to go ahead and converse to Sasaki and Katou like she typically did on the school trip. As a result, while she is immersed in her thoughts, Tadano gently pushes Komi toward Katou’s seat, who turns around at the appropriate time and greets Komi.

Later that day, the title protagonist is invited to Onemine’s house since she is making a chocolate cake for her family. When Kaede requests to join the two, Onemine gladly accepts her as well. Onemine’s younger siblings meet the three friends at her home. Komi is understandably uneasy because she has no concept how to make friends with children.

Meanwhile, Onemine makes the cake dough with the help of her friends and then gets busy in the kitchen with other tasks. She delegated responsibility for her siblings’ care to Kaede and Kom. While the former reads a story to one of the children, the titular protagonist fails to say anything. Onemine’s siblings have noticed her peculiar behavior by this point and end up asking their sister about Komi, who urges them to leave her alone because she is shy.

However, after being requested by the children, the main protagonist says only one word before they appear to lose interest in her. When the cake in the oven is done, everyone rushes to the kitchen to take a look at it. When Onemine’s siblings tell Komi that her voice is beautiful, she should speak up more. The three classmates, together with the children, then devour the cake together, creating a memorable evening.
