‘Along for the Ride,’ a Netflix romantic comedy, follows Auden, who arrives in the seaside town of Colby to spend time with her father Robert before starting university. She has moments of delight and recognition with Eli that she did not have before because of her father and mother’s tumultuous marriage. Such a compatible bond eventually draws them together.

Even after deciding to be in a relationship, Eli and Auden chose to allow their partner adequate space to pursue their dreams. Eli travels to Barcelona to open a bike shop, like he has always desired. Auden joins Maggie at university to further her education. Eli and Auden’s lives have been shortened by Abe’s death and Robert and Victoria’s divorce, respectively.
