365 Days (2020)

‘365 Days,’ directed by Barbara Biaows and Tomasz Mandes, is a polish erotic drama that has made news for its softcore sex scenes. ‘365 Days,’ based on Blanka Lipinska’s novel trilogy, tells the story of Laura, who is kidnapped by Massimo Torricelli, the boss of a Sicilian mafia family. Massimo tells Laura that he saw her on a beach five years ago and couldn’t forget her. Laura will be imprisoned for 365 days until she falls in love with Massimo. This strange premise sets the tone for their relationship, which blooms gradually through denials and seduction. To say the least, the sex scenes between Massimo and Laura are spicy, as they are tastefully shot to seduce the audience in a softcore thrill. ‘365 Days,’ maybe one of the raunchiest films on Netflix, is the polish equivalent to ‘Fifty Shades of Grey'(2015), albeit with an unsettling plot twist at the conclusion that leaves you wanting more.

Horns (2013)

Alexandre Aja’s work has characterized the nuanced blend of erotica and horror. Aja has established a name for himself in this genre by deftly blending fantasy and horror motifs in a titillating story. ‘Horns,’ on the other hand, is a supernatural thriller with a backbone established in mystery and sensual romance. It portrays the narrative of Ignatius ‘Ig’ Perrish, a man wrongfully convicted of raping and murdering the woman he loves, as played by Daniel Radcliffe. Ig uses his newfound paranormal skills to investigate the chain of events that led to the tragic murder in order to save the truth. Ig develops a pair of horns that allow him to coax the truth from others. ‘Horns,’ a thrilling murder mystery, including some dramatic sex scenes illustrating the key characters’ sensitive affection. The temperatures in the set were supposedly kept low to spice up the amorous encounters while filming the sexual activities.

Newness (2017)

Martin and Gabriella met through a dating app. Instead of hooking up, as they get to know each other, Gabriella finds that Martin was previously married, and Martin learns that Gabriella has previously had physically intimate relationships. They both agree to have an open relationship, but when Gabriella learns about Martin’s ailing mother and daughter, she feels betrayed. Unfortunately, both separate and begin new relationships while remaining in contact and meeting over for threesomes, etc (yes, you heard that right). They finally reconcile and swear not to separate again after a succession of romances. As simple as the plot may appear, there is a level of sensuality and intensity in ‘Newness’ that makes it stand out. You can watch it here.

White Girl (2016)

Sundance has always been a haven for fresh, new cinematic talent, and when Elizabeth Wood premiered her film ‘White Girl’ at the festival in 2016, she did not disappoint. The film, which was made on a shoestring budget of $700,000, depicts the story of a young girl named Leah who becomes involved in a sexually charged relationship with a Latino man named Blue.

Blue, a cocaine peddler by trade, normally sells his drugs on the street for much less than what upper-class individuals are ready to pay for the same stuff. This prompts Leah to introduce him to some of her coworkers, to whom he sells his medications and earns a tidy sum. However, Blue is quickly apprehended by an undercover cop, and Leah finds herself in serious danger with the one kilogram of cocaine that Blue was carrying on him at the time. The video then follows Leah’s efforts to liberate Blue from the constraints of the prison.

‘White Girl’ not only features sensual love scenes, but it also depicts a horrifying image on the opposite side of the coin. There includes a scene of sexual torture that may be upsetting to some viewers. Taking everything into consideration, one can simply state that ‘White Girl’ is a film with a heart. It attempts to delve into the complications of a relationship between an affluent white girl and a suffering Latino who has chosen the path of drug dealing after having no other means of support.

Amar (2017)

For everyone of us, first love seemed rosy and lovely. Because most of us fell in love for the first time when we were young. This time in our lives will live on in our hearts as a wonderful, romantic memory. However, when two individuals fall in love for the first time late in life, the encounter turns out to be one of ferocious passion in which anything and everything might go wrong. The two partners are sincerely, madly, and completely in love with one other, and it is unlikely that they will be able to tolerate even the tiniest loss of faith. This is the actual state of the main characters in ‘Amar.’

Laura and Carlos are head over heels in love with each other, and the intensity of their affection is eloquently conveyed in Esteban Crespo’s video. ‘Amar’ is best described as a slow-burning cigar. The film takes you on a passionate journey. It achieves the ideal blend of conveying soft feelings and brutal truths of life.

6 Years (2015)

Gerald’s Game (2017)

‘Gerald Game,’ directed by horror master Mike Flanagan, is both sensual and disturbing. Jessie Burlingame’s husband dies as they are reenacting one of his rape fantasies, leaving her chained to the bed. Strange things begin to happen as time passes. Some of these things are hallucinations for Jessie, while others are extremely genuine. She observes as a dog enters the room and rips a piece of Gerald’s corpse. Gerald then stands up and begins conversing to her, despite the fact that she is aware he is still on the floor. ‘Gerald’s Game,’ like most of Flanagan’s creations, features strong feminist overtones that are used innovatively and flawlessly.

The Package (2018)

‘The Package,’ one of the list’s standouts, masterfully balances black comedy with sexually explicit material. The film, directed by Jake Szymanski and written by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider, follows four friends on a camping trip. During this trip, one of them accidentally cuts his penis in two. The scenario obviously necessitates immediate action, and the video illustrates how these buddies go through various absurd situations to finally bring him medical help. This film contains a lot of nuance, but it never feels gratuitous. The film has some weak parts, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that it is a solid entertainment that can be appreciated with a grain of salt. Such comedies tend to be family entertainments that avoid include anything that may warrant an R-rating, but ‘The Package’ pulls no punches and delves into realms that others would not dare to explore.

His wife is aware yet powerless to intervene. Bianca, the daughter of a wealthy wheat and olive farmer who abuses his workers and rapes young women, is one of these mistresses. Ciccio, imbued with a fighting spirit, resolves to confront the wealthy farmer. For the most part, ‘The Last Paradiso’ is vulgar and amusing. Certain narrative decisions are guaranteed to surprise at least some members of the audience.

Although the picture lags a little too much, it makes up for it with a fantastic climax.

What looks to be a harmless experiment soon reveals dark secrets for which none of them were prepared. There are multiple sex scenes in the film. More than the sex, the film’s centerpiece is the wonderful chemistry between main performers Alia Shawkat and Laia Costa. ‘Duck Butter’s’ comic tone lends an unexpected element to its otherwise dramatic plot.

Elisa & Marcela (2019)

Their tenacity in the face of society’s denial, as well as their mutual desire to be with one other, paints a powerful picture of same-sex love stories like to ‘Brokeback Mountain’ (2005) and ‘Carol’ (2015). The film has numerous raunchy love-making sequences that personify the characters’ love in defiance of the societally imposed ‘normal.’

Lust Stories (2018)

‘Lust Stories,’ a collaboration between the leading directors of the Indian cinema industry, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee, is an anthology film that explores the sexual life concealed beneath Indian society’s ideals. Kashyap’s film revolves around a college lecturer, played by Radhika Apte, who has a sexual relationship with one of her students. Their friendship and the investigation of a forbidden relationship is a lovely exercise in illustrating the emotional spectrum that emerges from human follies and wants.

Akhtar’s film is about a domestic worker who has a sexual relationship with her boss. She learns that he is getting married, and their sexual enjoyment is going to come to an end. The simple picture leaves an aftertaste that encourages us to consider intimate difficulties that transcend social divisions. Banerjee’s project investigates the ramifications of sexual encounters outside of the marriage bond. In this film, Manisha Koirala’s portrayal of a feisty woman steals the show. Karan Johar’s film is about a newlywed woman who is sexually unsatisfied with her husband. She uses self-satisfaction to find the sweet spot, which is supplemented with a vibrator. She is caught in the act, which results in an awkward situation. ‘Lust Stories’ focuses on the female perspective and the difficulties they experience when exploring their sexuality.

Rei seduces him before viciously killing him after finding that Nanae has been horribly abused by her husband. Following that, the two ladies go on the run together, taking on a world that is hell-bent on capturing them. Hiroki has garnered a lot of praise throughout the years for the way he portrays his female heroes. ‘Ride or Die’ takes it to new heights. There are a few sex scenes in the film, but they are all done with such care that each moment in those sequences is an art piece in its own right.

Dry Martina (2018)

‘Dry Martina,’ written and directed by Che Sandoval, is a true treasure of a film. The titular lady appears to be past her prime, both sexually and as a vocalist. She meets Francisca, a superfan who claims to be her biological sister, and César, Francisca’s boyfriend. Martina successfully seduces César and, for the first time in a long time, finds fulfillment. Martina isn’t done with Cesar and Francisca when they leave, and she immediately boards a plane to follow them. The humor in ‘Dry Martina’ alternates between raunchy and insightful, and Antonella Costa’s portrayal as the protagonist sticks with you long after the credits roll.

Tiger, Blood in the Mouth (2016)

‘Tiger, Blood in Mouth,’ a sexually packed high octane boxing thriller, is a rollicking film that chronicles the story of an aging fighter Ramon and how he rediscover vigor and zeal via his sexual exploits with a much younger female boxer. Ramon’s family tries to persuade him to retire, but he refuses. Deborah, a young female fighter, entices him and he is smitten by her strength and ferocity. Ramon initiates a sexual experience with Deborah, which is portrayed in some wild and passionate love-making scenes that frame the film’s plot. The picture is charged with their passionate encounters, as is Ramon, who leaves his family to pursue his boxing career. Pleasure and suffering are inextricably intertwined and can work as an aphrodisiac, revitalizing the soul. This Argentine film, starring Leonardo Sbaraglia and Eva De Dominici, explores the energizing effect of intense sex.
