One of the renowned and iconic production houses of the industry, YRF Films, has announced the release date of the sequel to War. This movie is titled 'War 2,' and it will star Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will be a new addition in this upcoming film, and it will be directed by Ayan Mukherjee.


Yash Raj Films took to their X (formerly Twitter) to share a quick update about its release date, wherein they shared on their official handle, which said, 'Must say... You have set it up brilliantly even before we have started our marketing of #War2... there will be mayhem in cinemas on 14th August 2025, worldwide….'


This new film will add on to YRF's Spy Universe, which was first begun with Ek Tha Tiger, released in 2012, which starred Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and was further expanded to two parts, namely Tiger Zinda Hai, released in 2017, and Tiger 3, released in 2023.
