Chand Jalne Laga is a serial of the romantic-drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the lives of two childhood friends namely Deva and Tara who truly love each other. Tara is the beloved daughter of Vanraj Sehgal who is a very skillful and influential businessman. Meanwhile, Deva is a orphan whom from a very young age works as a blacksmith at Tara’s home and looks after their horses to meet his basic needs. As they both grow together, Deva teaches Tara about the true importance of inner strength and facing life challenges bravely. Further, the story takes a tragic turn when a major fire breaks out in the Sehgal Mansion and Deva gets falsely accused for that incident as he had lit the house on fire. Although Deva was with her when the mansion caught fire, still Tara accused her as the culprit behind that incident because her father had pressured her to do so in order to save him from the villagers. As Deva didn’t complete eighteen years of age, he was sent to a juvenile home by Tara’s father. Further, an unfortunate news comes across Tara that the juvenile home in which Deva was present, had unfortunately collapsed and many innocent children had lost their lives because of it. As she believes that Deva also died in the collapse, she is left with deep grief and sorrow. What will happen further? Can Tara move on from this traumatising incident? This TV series is an epic depiction of various elements of thrill, love, drama and suspense.
