Adinath Kothare appeared for the first time on screen in a child actor’s role in his father Mahesh Kothare’ Marathi film, ‘Majha Chakula’ released in 1994 which was a super hit film and ‘Ved Laavi Jeeva’ which failed miserably. He did his next film opposite his wife Urmila called ‘ Dubhang’
Adinath made his debut in Bollywood in Sanjay Surkar’s film which was based on Sports drama called ‘ Stand By’ and had acted in few more ventures that made him a celebrity star kid in Marathi films.
He also assisted his father for his film and in 2003, he was a part of a big hit film, called ‘ Chimani Pakhare”
He is currently doing his debut as a director for a Marathi feature film, ‘Paani’ which is being produced by actress Priyanka Chopra.
The next upcoming film of Adinath Kothare is in the film ‘83’ directed by Kabir Khan, a big project with multistar cast and a biographical sports film in which he plays the role of Cricketer Vengsarkar while Ranveer Singh is essaying Kapil Dev .The film is bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment and has Deepika Padukone in the lead as well.
His most recent films that he acted in are ‘Panchak’, ;15th August’ ‘Paani’ and ‘Full 3 Dhamaal’.
Along with acting in films Adinath is also involved with production of two serials, ‘Jai Malhar’ and ‘Jasyostute’ which is being produced by Home Entertainment Company.
Adinath Kothare has also acted in films like ‘Satrangi Re’ in 2012 followed by in 2014 wherein he acted in several films such as ‘Hello Nandan’, ‘Isqh Wala Love’, ‘Premsathi Coming Sunn’ , ‘Avatarachi Ghostha’ ‘Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota’ and in 2015 he had two films ‘Nilkanth Master’ and ‘Maun Raag’
